Shepard Fairy opens his 'May Day' solo show at Deitch Projects in New York on May 1st. The gallery has worked with some of the pioneers of street art from the beginning, most notably Keith Harring, Barry Mcghee, Swoon & Os Geomos to name a few. Jeffrey Deitch is the man behind the gallery and is taking up the role of the head of the Museum of Modern Art in the US. Thats seems like its good for good for street art and other street pioneering artists. Surely only a matter of time before banksy does a show there...
