A californian court has ruled against Mr.Brainwash for copyright infringement the hollywood reporter writes! I think the general public would support brainwash if his art really tried to take these re-mixed images to another level but alas it seems the great majority of his work, is just to change the colour on something and give it a stencil look repeatedly. This practice alone is not enough and is potentially damaging to subtle tweaks from artists who genuinely subvert images that can have profound effects in the best cases...
