Oranges and Lemons - Online release date October 23rd

Oranges and Lemons' is an English nursery rhyme which refers to the bells of six churches, all within or close to the City of London and dates from around the 17th Century. The origins are unknown and many alternate lyrics and meanings have been suggested. This limited run of 130 were type set and printed by hand on an Albion Press and the bell was also screen-printed by hand, and are the first in a series of collaborations between Richard Ardagh and Graham Bignell. We already have a proof and they are absolutely lovely. The prints are on lovely heavyweight paper and are big, measuring 68.5 x 101.5 cm.

Half an Orange and Lemon...

Here you can see the newly half finished letter press print from Richard and Graham. They are pressing the last half of the poem and hopefully the print should be available in the next couple of weeks. It looks like a beautiful piece of design and craftsmanship and is going to be priced very modestly.. ; )

Biennial Finalist, Richard Aardagh's Elephant Man Poster has been selected as a finalist to appear in the chicago International Poster Biennial. Unfortunately these prints are now sold out but he has some very exciting new letterpress projects on the way soon...watch this space ; )
